County staff will present a report to the Finance and Audit Committee on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 seeking direction from County Council – at the recommendation of the Committee – on a target base levy (property tax) increase for the 2023 budget year.

After presentation to the Finance and Audit Committee, this report – along with related recommendations from the Committee – will be shared with County Council on June 15, 2022. Based on direction from Council, staff will then structure the 2023 Budget for Council review.

County staff will present the results of the 2023 Budget Survey to the Finance and Audit Committee during their monthly meeting on Tuesday, July 5, 2022.

This report will be a guidepost for the Committee, Council and County staff in the development of the 2023 County Budget.

County staff will provide a budget overview presentation at the regular meeting of County Council in December 2022.
