We’re working to support our local businesses—and we need your input.

Whether you’re a customer who shops in town or a local business owner, we want to hear from you! Your feedback will help us understand how, where, and why people shop locally—and what we can do to encourage even more support for local businesses.

About Prosper in Northumberland

The Northumberland Buy Local campaign is an initiative led by Prosper in Northumberland — a collaboration of over 30 representatives from local businesses, associations, municipalities, and community members united to respond to rising economic challenges from international trade disputes and the wave of Canadian pride sweeping the nation.

📢 Why your feedback matters

Supporting local businesses keeps money in our community, creates local jobs, and builds a stronger, more resilient local economy. This summer, we are launching a Northumberland Buy Local campaign to promote the support of local businesses and we want to make sure this campaign reflects what matters most to you.

By completing a quick survey, you’ll help us:

  • Identify what motivates people to shop local
  • Understand the challenges that prevent local shopping
  • Gather ideas to improve the local shopping experience
  • Build a campaign that resonates with our community

Your input will directly inform our upcoming Northumberland Buy Local campaign, launching this summer.

Let’s work together to grow a stronger, more vibrant local economy.
