Planning for next steps
The demand for local child care services has been on the rise, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. With limited resources available and high demand throughout our community, collecting data on the needs of local families will help ensure our resources are directed to areas of greatest need and that our services are tailored to suit families in our community as we plan for future service delivery.
To obtain this data, the Northumberland County Early Years team is conducting a child care needs assessment survey with Northumberland families to help staff plan current and future child care services for the community. This data will be used to help inform Northumberland County's Early Years Business Plan as well as our 5-year Early Year Learning and Child Care Service System Plan.
